RoboKnights Have A Fantastic Day At The Regional Competition!

Our Roboknights 8th grade team, the Waffle Turtles, had one FANTASTIC day today at the Regional FIRST Lego League competition in Madison! They tied for 4th in the robotics competition, then went on to earn the 2nd place overall Champion award with their core values, innovation project (Histo-Draw), and robot design presentation. They were also nominated for two other awards, the Robot Design Award and Core Values Award.  They have worked so very hard since August, and really put on a great show at the Regional Competition. Congratulations to Claire Mondloch, Eddie Bloomer, Charlotte Czerwonka, and Eloise Czerwonka!!

The 7th grade team also competed at the Regional meet.  The 7th grade team includes:  (Cheezy Taters - Troy Bertling, Jayden and Brayden Goodness, Tucker Mathews, Majes Maricque and Keegan Olvera) The 6th grade team, called the Legitimate Business Penguins, includes: Annaliese Ramirez, Kali Stelter, Jayden Mueller, Ayrton Thornton, Francis Brooks and Jason Brisky.  Great job to all participants for your hard work and dedication to RoboKnights!

  1. Great job, Waffle Turtles!! You were amazing to watch both on the robot floor and in front of the judges. Way to go with your Python robot coding and for making your very own working Histo-Draw app! Your teamwork and hard efforts are paying off. Good luck at Sectionals!
