NGMS Launches the Six Million Pop Tabs Holocaust Remembrance Project

How many of you drink something from a can — maybe soda, juice, or sparkling water — almost every day? Now think about the little tab on top of that can. It’s tiny, right? Easy to overlook. MS ACP Day #1- October 15, 2025

Image
On Wednesday, October 15th, New Glarus Middle School students participated in Academic and Career Planning (ACP) Day , a day designed to help students reflect on their goals, plan for the future, and build the skills that will help them succeed in high school and beyond. A highlight of the day was a student panel of New Glarus High School sophomores and juniors , who shared their experiences and advice with 7th and 8th graders. The high school students spoke about the transition from middle school to high school, emphasizing the importance of staying organized, managing time wisely, and building strong study habits early on. They also encouraged middle schoolers to take advantage of opportunities to get involved and to ask for help when needed. In addition to hearing from the panel, students worked through their Xello lessons that day , a key part of the district’s ACP program that helps students explore career interests, set goals, and understand how their strengths connect to futur...
